Bugs

All........

I've noticed a particular type of bug hanging out in (actually, there's
always two of them and they're always......never mind) the open flowers.
They're about a centimeter long, are black with two whitish stripes running
long ways down the center of their backs and have a fancy yellow collar
around their neck. They have wings and do fly though seem reluctant to do
so. Are these the dread squash bugs I hear tell about, or something else?
I don't see any visible signs of damage anywhere on the plant. I'm seeing
more and more of them as time goes on so I'm concerned whether I should be
squishing/spraying/nuking them or, if they're beneficial, leave well enough
alone. Thoughts?
