A couple of questions from IOWA
List
Hi the Carlsons here in Iowa with a couple of questions for your
pondering.....I just cleaned my plants ..as they are quite small
still....from all visible borer eggs!!! about a total of 30 to 40..... I
have seen more eggs up on top of the leaves then ever before...anyone
else seen this before..most are usually around the leafs stems and the
main vine area...this isa new one on us..
#2 If I remove the eggs and discard then off to the side in the
dirt...will they die there with out the food right there for them to eat
when they hatch?? Or do I need to remopve them from the patch site
alltogether
#3 I currently am laying a6 wide piece of old sheet along the main as
it grows out and am soaking this along with the main before I cover the
main with the sheet...Hopefully this tech will keep the spray on and
stronger around the main and stump area!!! could this be causing the
moths to lay the eggs father up??
Thanks
