female bud
Hi Casey N-I take the vine off early.
The leaf,is optional,I usually wait until it gets in the way or until it
starts scraching the fruit,then I take it off.One bonus if let on is that it
may help shade the small fruit during part of the day.--AE
P.S.--7-10 days before I reach first pollination.

Do any of you growers cut the side vine and the Leaf off where the female
bud is if you plan to set fruit wtih that female? I would think the side
vine for sure, i am not sure about the leaf. I will have a female open in a
couple days. Info would be greatly appreciated.
