woodchuck follow-up
Just wanted to report back to you all on the woodchuck wars... The combat has
subsided, for now. A few casualties. The others appear to have hit the
road. There is one left but he is laying low.
A word to the wise, don't waste your time with cockamamie schemes such as
bombs, sprays, fox urine and the like. Don't even waste your energy building
a wire fence (they dug deep to get under it). These creatures are far too
crafty for these measures. My advice: foot traps, foot traps and more foot
traps. Then once they give up the ghost, leave one of their furry corpses
next to their den. The rest will get the picture. Nary a woodchuck tooth
has touched my pumpkins, so I consider myself lucky. Good luck to other
woodchuck warriors!
