two per hill? one?
Hello all,
Unlike Ric in California I have all the space in the world,
but my plants aren't growing too fast! ;-)
Anyway, I'm to the point where my plants are starting to
"lay down and crawl". I planted them in hills (small mounds)
and I have plenty of space between the hills. My question is,
on most of these hills I still have two plants growing. Should
I thin them down to one? My goal for this year is to get a
100 lb pumpkin.
I'm not sure if my hills are "hills", as some might think. They
are about one yard square, raised 6 to 8 inches in the middle.
I have plenty of space otherwise, up to 1/4 of an acre if I
wanted to use it all.
