Continues...
Perfect pumpkin weather has settled over northern
California near the spot where Capt. Drake found a magnificent
bay. Balmy days in the low 80's and mild breezes off the restless
Pacific stoke up the plant's little green engines.
My four AG plants are vining now - reaching across the patch in a
furious land grab and waving their young leaves happily at the sun.
I've been too busy to update my grower's log until now - most of the
heavy digging behind me. The first chapter is done which covers my soil
prep and germination techniques. It can be found at:

Give this page a while to load if you have a slow internet connection
- it's worth the wait.
My 789 Zunino, now has a seven foot vine, 20" leaves, a dozen
secondaries and is as elegant and majestic as any pumpkin plant you will
ever see. A mythical child of the gods:
789 Zunino at 5 weeks - perfection in
motion
I'll be updating my growers log again soon. I'll show a picture of
the crouching tiger (846 Calai), but beware of the dragon. It can't be
seen, but you will soon hear it roar!
