List,

Can anyone tell me if Sevin is effective on squash vine borer eggs or newly
hatched borer grubs? I inspected my plants today and found and pulverized
several eggs. I was about to bury some vines when I sensed that I might
have missed some, so I drenched the vines with Sevin before burying them.
Good move? Bad call? Talk to me.

Although many growers use it there is no listing on the Label for SVB.
Methoxichlor & Thiodan are listed controls.  For Organic growers a spray
mixture of Pyrethins & Rotenone.
