RE: Rules of Thumb
Brent Richey--a few years ago I used my records to come up with a guideline
that would tell me if early fruit growth was good, average or poor.
My best over the years have grown something like this:
Day 10--20" circumference
Day 20--60" ditto ie 4"/day average
Somebody else came up with Day 30--100",I would say it should be at least
100" for a good one.
It is possible to grow them faster but I don't think I can recommend it for
success on the scales come October.--AE

I just saw some goals for circumference after so many days but I have
managed to misplace it. It was something like 20 inches in 10 days, 100
inches in 30 days.....I can't quite remember. Can somebody help me?
