Hi all,
All of my plants double vined at one point this year...three are still doing
it somewhat. I really think it is weather related as my seeds are very
broad genetically speaking.

Hi List!
My Calai 846 threw out about 2' of flat vine,
then split into 2 vines. One of the two was "oblong",
which I pruned, the other was thick and round, and now
extends 10' out, and is looking good. I noticed
through this list,that Alan R., John Maston, and B.
Sadowski also had this problem this year. Coincidence?
Could all these seeds have come from the same segment?
Could weather be involved?I don't recall hearing about
this seed "flatvining" last year, and thought this
could be an interesting and educational thread.
