Mark, I have been growing the Giants since 1985 and can tell you for sure there is no growth gain with milk. I have charted the same two plants pumpkin growth. One with just sprayed fertilizer and one with milk that I dripped into the vines with a small plastic line (sort of like IV). The one that had nothing picked up 2 inches a day. The one that was getting the milk went down to 1 inch grow on the circumference of the pumpkin per day. The End weight was below the other plant by about 50 pound.
Bottom line is it didn't do anything for the plant except slow down the growth of the pumpkin.
