Dear list--
The challenges of growing big pumpkins for a first-timer
continue, and I am hoping I can get you input on two issues.
Firs, I have two plant the 1230 Deletas and the 862.5 Hester
squash, that finally started to run, but they are running straight up about 2
1/2 feet or more with no signs of slowing. I fear they are going to tip
over. Any Advice? Second, both plants have extremely heavy vines,
but they are not round--they are more flat. Is this good, bad or
normal?
My other two plant 746 LaRue and 1026 Holland have both laid
down and begun to run nicely with nice round vines.
Big pumpkins for all!!

P.S. I am so grateful for this list
