burying vines

List,
I was wondering when everyone buries vines? I have been, it
has been damp lately here in WV and I've held off but my vines (secondaries) are
growing a foot a day. Should I wait until the soil is dry? How much soil do you
put over the vines? Also, My first female wilted, the 2nd looks O.K. Should I be
concerned?
