RE: Rick's web site updated
Pea-sized fruit already? I seem to be both way ahead and way behind.
I started an early plant (Maston 570) on April 14th which already has a 10
day old fruit. My other plants (Corkum 616*, Hester 895*, Troy 654 &
Sherwood 598) were started May 20th and are just starting to run.
I have some 'tweener plants (Hebb 990* & 917* & Moss 873.5) from the IPGA
seminar, but they were all stunted by frost and are behind the later
plantings. I am basically just curious to see what these plants might do.
I will probably remove them if they don't take off soon. I am really glad I
started the later seeds!
Of course, having the early plant really gets the juices flowing for the
season! I am already starting to measure fruit...what a great feeling!

Howdy, fellow pumpkineers!
I was surprised to discover that I've got some pea-sized fruit already, one
yellow and one green!
