I traveled the miles in my beginning years to see it...1006 at the Nut
tree..........got the greatest picture of Hannah and the 1006
pumpkin........and a story Bill would laugh at.........
Hell lets face it 1000 lbers were rare in fact unheard of. Well I stuck my
arm in the mouth of the behemouth.......to get that one missed seed......but
Chris Andersen had been there.... You could have eaten dinner on that
pumpkin it was so clean....should have known better ....HANNah freaked and
screamed like she was dying,,,,,,,,,, thinking the big blob was taking her
DADDy.......... I did turn beet red.. From all the attention........never
been so embarassed ....
But little does big Bill know......some dude in CALif.........has his work
framed on the wall! Its was truly a historical milestone and am very please
to have seen it and to have talked with Bill on the phone he was truly a
great man. MB
