Hi Cliff,
I think the conventional wisdom is to clip one of the double
mains. Otherwise they compete against each other for space,
light and fluids. I would do it sooner rather than later and
dust the clipped end with capton. It's your choice which
one... flip a coin.
Those hoop houses have helped out alot... looks like you are
ahead of me at this point.
