Re: long gourd germination
Gourds in general are troublesome to germinate. Put a window over the top of
the spot held up with boards or dirt. Sprinkle some Captan & Diazinon over
the seed in the planting hole. They can take up to 14 days to germinate, I have
6 types of Large gourds I germinated this way. Planted 3 Long Gourd and 2
came up, one had trouble shedding the seed.
