Just got 'em in th ground. Fertilizer--Miracle Gro?

Thanks again Gus, for answering another of my questions!

Is Miracle Gro an ok fertilizer to use while the plants are getting started?

I finally put my two biggest plants in the ground last night. The tilled
patch is about 12 ft by 4 ft, but they have the whole yard to spread, pretty
much. I added 3 bags of cow manure to the soil before I planted them, and put
them in 2 seperate hills, then ran a soaker hose around and in between them,
then covered it all with weed block and watered and fertilized them.

Does it sound like I'm on the right track?

I'm giving away my last four plants to friends with kids--that will really be
the fun part, comparing how everyone else's pumpkins do!

Thanks again fellow pumpkin fans!

Occassionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment which
cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Their meanings
can only be articulated by the inaudible language of the heart.
