I too use Epsom Salt for many things !!! As it goes for Pumpkins Between
Applications of Calcium Chelate I put one Cup of Epsom salt per five gallon
bucket and mix in 5 cups fish emulsion and a few ounces of liquid kelp and drench
the stump every week! Epsom Salt is Magnesium Sulfate U.S.P or (Mg SO4 7H20)
Magnesium Builds Chlorophyll and Really builds up the GREEN in the plant it also
allows the Cells to divide more rapidly which will give you bigger heavier
leaves. It expands the Mesophille (Spell?) which contains the Chlorophyll and
aids in the Vascular system.
I believe this was ONE reason why my 703* grew on a 135 sqft plant that was
put Directly in my lawn in the shade !! Hope this helps a little !!!!
