Re: Seed Starting
Korney , List
Actually now that I have it figured out my Datura (Brugmansia) seeds are now
Datura plants !! I am out of seeds !!! HINT HINT !!! with seeds like Daturas
and Swiss Chard I only keep the seed in the Vermiculite for two to three days
and then pot them before the roots come out this is just a good way to give
them a Quick start !! As I said it takes allot of fine tuning for each seed type
but after you get a handle on which seeds need what as it goes for Moisture
and possible natural seed treatments like Humic Acid and Liquid Kelp, etc., you
will be right on your way to Mastering YOUR own way to do things..
That is one important thing I want to chat about !!! Everyone says "Well
this Heavy Hitter does it this way" or "all the big growers do it that way" !!
I truly believe we EACH have to figure out what works for each of us in out
own Micro Climates and for our own growing skills. once you figure out what
works for you STICK to it only experiment till you find what works for you then
only experiment on a spare plant from that point on because I truly believe a
HEAVY HITTER is Simply this.... A grower that has MASTERED THERE OWN GROWING
ABILITIES FOR THERE OWN GROWING ENVIRONMENT and for you to join there ranks you
will have to do the same !!! Anyone with any other thoughts ??
Take care all and have a Wonderful 2003 Season See you at the scales !!!
