what has worked well, read extremely well, for me has been to file the
edges, soak a couple of paper towels in miracle grow then place the seed in
the middle of the paper towels (i fold mine into roughly fourths) and then
place the wet (not dripping wet but slightly wet) paper towels into a ziploc
baggie. i have gotten more than a few seeds to germinate for me in this way
