I would pollinate them both, and watch them for two or three weeks before I
would decide.  I would calculate their growth RATE before I made the
decision.  A "younger" one might be growing so much faster, that if you
projected them out to weigh-off day, it would overtake the older one.  I
use a spreadsheet to do this.
