as well....

Cliff: I've used straw in the past as a mulch and found out that it becomes a great place for insects to hide especially squash bugs also i wouldn't put straw under a pumpkin as when it gets wet it stays wet.

This leads me to a question, what do you all think of straw? I certainly have
a lot of it. It probably won't stay wet but it might stay moist....

Hello all
I tried to search the archives for this one but no luck. What does everyone
use to set the pumpkin on as its growing? Or do you let them grow on the
ground? I thought some landscape fabric might be good.
Thanks Steve
