Problem solved

Hello all

Vince you were right after a few days now all the males have pollen.
Here is an update note on my two fields. About three weeks ago I had a
horrible sucker problem I tried everything and nothing normal seemed to
stop the leaf killing. I mixed 5 table spoons of Malathion in a 1 quart
spray bottle and soaked everything in 85 degree weather. Well I got rid
of the bug problem and the Rivard 1178. I almost killed and did stunt
very badly the Hester 1023, Holland 1149, Eaton 1236 and the Emmons
1038. I did not kill or damage the Stucker 963 or the Houser 369.5. The
Stucker is the fastest grower and I will be setting fruit bout 12' out
on the main vine in about 6 or 7 days. The Emmons 1038 should open a
female in about 3 or 4 days but it is only about 7 ' out but the plant
in scrawny due to me trying to kill it a while back. For all of you that
worry about hot weather it was 107 degrees here the last 2 days. My own
seed seems to take the heat better than any of the others I think it is
because it was from the Hunt 991 x selfed and that plant only wilted
from hot weather once. Well there's an update
