Re: off the ground?

Hi List-
I use a piece of plywood set on 2X2 "stickers" to keep it off the ground
slightly (for air circulation and easier moving later)--and when it's time
to move the pumpkin out of the garden, cut the stem and move a long
platformed hand truck under the plywood, pumpkin & all, tip it gently back
and haul it out of the garden--I have done this successfully w/ small
fruit-(100-300 lb range) anything bigger, I might have to invest in one of
those pumpkin tarps.
