RE: Little David Please Stand Up!
I'm not sure I understand the danger of double-vine. So far, what I
have seen to be called "doublevineing" looks more like a vine with
better potential to produce big fruit (more leaves, more roots, more
everything good). Can somebody explain to me why this is feared?
Doublevine isn't the same thing as flat-vine, right?

"First a mole went directly under and around pretty Lilu (1048
Companion)
one night. I found her in the morning flat on her back sobbing softly."
Vince, the mole or the plant?
"Then my best plant (1230 Daletas) in my other mound went double vine -
and
not just a little but full throttle."
I hope you kept the plant. David's 963 Stucker was full-throttle double
from
its stem to the last wee double/triple tendril-blossom-leaf 'fuzzy
broccoli'
end. A 2nd-year grower, David grew his 649 and 417 on the plant's
secondaries. We're hoping more experienced growers will grow out their
double vines and see if we all can learn something about their
potential.
