Re: Main Vine Splits - any hope?

Steve,
They're a longitudal split. I'm going to try treat them with Captan as suggested by Jordan and Mark and keep it dry.
Thanks
Steve

H Steve,

Are the splits lateral or longitudal? If they run parallel the vascular
tubes they should be OK if kept dry.

Subject: Main Vine Splits - any hope?

Hi,
I've gotten vine splits in the Main just a few inches from the stump in 3
of
my 5 plants. Is there any hope for the plant? Can I just bury the vine at
the
split part and move on or does the split take too much from the plant?

Love to hear to some experiences with this and how you handled it.

Thanks
