Big Pumpkin/Small Pot

Just curious.....
  Has anyone grown a giant pumpkin plant in a pot?
  I was able to find good homes for all of my extra plants....but one. So I put it in the biggest pot I had, and set it out on the porch in pretty much full sun. The plant is doing well at this point.  
  Just wondering if it will run, and can it possibly support a small pumpkin?
  I know, it probably depends on the pot size, so it is hard to get a truly accurate answer...
  but.. has anyone grown a plant in a pot and gotten a pumpkin?
  It's a cool plant to have on the porch, so I going to press on either way.
