Re: fertilizing

Due to the rain and humidity, I want to start spraying now to avoid any potential problems.

Has anyone heard of or used 70% Neem Oil? It is a fungicide/insecticide/miticide? I have some and am planning on using it tonight. It is suppose to kill insect eggs, larvae and adults, in addition to stopping powdery mildew.

This time of the year, disease should not be a problem. But if you are concerned and want to just make sure an application of Chlorothalonil (Daconil) is a good protestant and tends to stay on the plant if left to dry for several hours. You might want to check this link: http://vegetablemdonline.ppath.cornell.edu/NewsArticles/Cuc_Cntct_Fcides.htm
