Sounds like there may be hope for the snapped vine. How about the one I planted
90 degrees in the wrong direction.
Word to the wise: Use caution when transplanting and working in the patch while
using pain killers and alcohol. LOL

Have you thought about just abandoning the main vine that got snapped and
wait for a secondary to form and train it as you main. I've done this in
the past and it works.
Sorry to hear about your medical issues.
The weather here has really sucked, I planted out five plants, the wind took
out two, one week after setting out. With three left, one is doing the
ribbon thing, the other has a split in the main vine near the base, that
leaves me with one good plant. The plants are about half the size they
should be for this time of year. A lot of challenges this year.
