Hi All,
No this is not about the screen saver but I sure wish it was!
The winds here in Northern Calif have been just delightful, 52 mph clocked
at San Francisco International Airport this afternoon and it is still
blowing a gale. Looks like we are settling into our typical summer weather
pattern!
Guess I don't have to worry about any cuke beetles today, there either
hunkered down or plastered against the fence!
My pumpkins are still sheltered except my Greer 1006 which out grew it's 6
x 6 shelter a week ago. Sad sight it is, I have set up wind breaks behind
it but never the less it resembles that parachute that pops out of a drag
car as it hits the end of the race track at about 300 mph!
An even better description might be Don King on a bad hair day.
I wonder how Joel Holland does it, he has the most exquisite looking plants
from the beginning to the end of the season, already mine look war ravaged
from wind, insects, heat...............etc.
Looking closely at them you would think I had abused them, but I have
tended them well!
So Sad!
How is the rest of California doing, is anybody in the Northwest getting
hammered by these winds?
