Here come the BORERS!

Brutally crushed first two squash vine borer moths into oblivion today.
Only able to find two eggs, but undoubtedly there are more about.
Sprayed with Sevin (and Daconil to help prevent some of the fungus
problems I had last year) tonight.

---> What do folks feel would be the best program to prevent the eggs I
can't find from resulting in borers? I was over-run with borers last
year. Methoxychlor vs. Sevin? How often, etc.? Any beneficial
insescts with a taste for vine borer eggs that I haven't just killed
with Sevin?

Regards,

P.S. No cuke beetles yet. They'll have some Sevin waiting for them
when they arrive!

Remember to spray Sevin at night so you don't kill honey bees -- even if
you are going to do controlled pollination.
