Got an emergency call last night from a local Pumpkin grower, seems he has a plant that is producing only female flowers and it is his only one. Tomorrow morning he is meeting me in my patch at 5:30 a.m. with cooler in hand. I’m going to give him some ripe male flowers to hand pollinate his female. He only has a few hours to pollinate while the pollen is still viable. Just thought I would share that with you. George N. Tewksbury, MA
