Hi guys. I'm a rank newbie and I have two questions for all you folks.
1) Where do you get these special seeds you are talking about? Are they from
last year's winner(s); and if so, HOW?
2) Something ate my first plantings - down to the ground. I just replanted
this week (5/25), have I any hope of decent pumpkins for my children to carve
for Halloween? I'm not about to try and enter ANY contests until I get better
at this!
I live in San Jose, CA, in a Zone 10/11 spot. I've tilled in manure, I don't
mind a few cosmetic defects as these are jack-o-lanterns for the children to
carve; WAY more fun than store bought!
Enlighten me!
Melinda
