Re: my 977
Hi Chris,
I have several Mr. Pumpkins growing, they're doing well. Have my soil samples
of my new patch all ready to send off for testing. I'm pretty sure I know what
the results are going to be - need to lime the soil. I did it last fall, but
our soil is very acidic. my first 977 is really going to town! It has a rather
"flat" vine. Just applied some more "Sta-green" fertilizer.
Has anyone had any experience with mulching with pine needles? I'm considering
using this in my pumpkin patch - are they too acidic?
