Doug,
When you transplant, water them in with 15-30-15. One to two tablespoons
per gallon...no more. The black plastic really isn't needed. Get yourself a
good swan neck hoe from Gardeners Supply catalogue and you can weed that 3 X 3
hill in 30 seconds flat.Good luck,
