Cucumber beetles can spread diseases to pumpkins when they feed on them, that
is the main concern. Handpicking and Sevin should work, but make sure you
don't get any in the flowers, since you will also be killing bees! So
spray/dust in the evening when the flower heads are more closed. >>
I have dusted some sevin on my plants....and instant success! I went out to
the patch about an hour after I dusted, and there were dead beetles all over!
Happy day, happy day. I think I am getting this latest problem licked...I'll
