El Nino has brought us hoards of bugs this year to bite our plants along
with mosquitoes to bite us while we work on our plants. The cucumber
beetle is a major blight carrier and will often cause leaves to shrivle
up very suddenly, I have noticed this on cucumbers and other plants
also. Might be a good idea to put some fungicide spray on the affected
area to prevent blight spreading to the rest of the plant. Don't forget
the mosquito repellent.
