Re: Sympathy? and a Social science question

Marv,

I'll be ready for ZOO. By the time harvest is here, I'll probably get to talk
to several of you several times. Don't be afraid to show your feminine side,
guys. It's ok.

Ok, Ok, here is my feminine side: my dang vine is just sitting there
at 3.5 feet and has been for a week with _VERRY_ little growth (1 or
2 inches, maybe) This is soooooo frustrating! There is some glimmer
of hope though, the plant has seemed to become a deeper green this
last week during the warmer weather.

OK. Now that aside. I have a question for the list members. As I
have Followed this list and read about this sport I have noticed that
there are a lot of men involved. I have also noticed that our
current all time champ is a woman. So, here is the question: Is
growing atlantic giants a white, male, north american sport?
I would like to hear of growers that don't fit that discription,
just out of interest.

Not meaning to step on any toes, just currious.
