Boss told me nicely this morning to not give the appearance of working
in the patch during work hours which means only before 9, between 12 and
1 and after 5. It is going to be difficult to cool these down in the
morning for I usually don't get in till after 9 because of getting the
kids out. I will have to get up 5:30, come in, do my duty, leave and
come back. My wife is not going to like this a whole lot but it is only
for a short time, (like the rest of my life).
Haven't got a female to set yet but am trying has hard as I can. This
heat stinks. I will start April 1st next year under a hot house, don't
care for the GPC date thing much anymore. Isn't fair to us southern
growers.Its a lot of fun at Altoona though (if we could only do
something about Meisner though)
