Thanks for your answer. At the present time I do have some fruits set that
are doing very well. My plan however is to wait until I get fruits set around
JULY 1 to JULY 10. This is my target set date for weigh-off. I will then
cull the early sets. If all goes as planned, I will cut and prune very soon
after this.
In response to your question, I know that Joe Miley who holds the state
record in Indiana, removes all his flowers male and females. He also buries
most of his vines in an attempt to steer all energy to his pumpkin(s). I plan
to do the same.
