I regret bringing the matter to the list, it was probably inappropriate here
I had an opinion and expressed it,same as you . I am aware of the dangers.
You know if I think checkout material is crap, what I think of the garbage
available on the net. I take as many precautions as possible .
Your statement about not allowing access in a family setting just struck me
as perhaps questioning the responsibility of anyone who would do so.
My kids do not have full internet access.They have their own age level
access.
If they need something they cannot access they must use my sceen name
for which I must enter my password,so I am not relying on their self controll,
but parental controls in the computer setup for each of their screen
names,controls that cannot be changed without my password.They are restricted
to what they can access as well as unsolicited incoming e-mail.
I am a good man Joe and I believe you are too.
I appreciate your concerns and assure you I have them also.
