Vickie, I too am a big B/Meal fan; but as you stated...$$$. I will never
do this because of the probable health issues involved & it sounds pretty
gorey BUT; what would happen if a person went down to their local processer
and asked for........ you got it---- plane ol blood? Take it home & pour it
on a fallow garden area. Then plant some buckwheat -- till it under 6 weeks
later & follow that with some winter rye in the fall. Could you imagine how
much nitrogen you would have in the soil? Like I stated I'm not going to do
this because I haven't done any research on anything like it & in my few
years of large scale gardening have never heard of such a thing---
especially with edible
produce.
