Re: Burying vines

I just use the soil in my patch which I had prepaired in advance to
bury my vines and I do it before the pumpkin sets. It works out great
because it stops the wind from blowing the vines around as well as adding
water to the plant which it will need plenty of once a fruit is set. I have
also noticed, and I don't know if I am the only one, but my vines get
thicker and are almost not hollow at all near each spot that I burry the
vine. As for fertilizer, I wouldn't worry about fertilizing ever spot that
you burried your vine at. Folier spray and at the root should be fine.
