stand still............now the weather has picked up a little and so has

We see the same thing here near the southern Lake Ontario shore.
It has been SLOWLY warming up. The rain we saw was not enouogh to wet the
sidewalk. We desperately need rain.
My first blossom opened on a KENNEDY 625 near the main root. The confused
groom looked around for a prospective mate but saw none
Life can be cruel sometimes: even for male blossoms that arrive in a
(temporary, I hope) femaleless patch. When they do show up, he'll be just a
sad footnote in pumpkin history. Some latecomer will be ready to take his
place.
