Insectisides on new plants?

Well I pulled the ones that had the strange red rust on the top surfaces of the
leafs, the new ones are up and just opening their 1st real leaf about 1' long.
Tonight on one of the real leafs I found a little webbing and a VERY small 3/16?,
VERY thin grey grub with a dark head kind of looked like {shudder} pic I have
seen of a vine borer laying along the main vein.
What can I put on plants this young without killing them?
Never thought I would loose sleep over some pumpkins!
