Measured Cir of my pumpkins tonight. As follows;
My early plant 480 est Reynolds (935 Lloyd x 600 Jones) Jones 600
is (975 Zehr x 1061 Zehr). Pol. on 6-10 Measured today, 10 day circ.
measurement (measured above stem and blossom) was 28 inches. Other on same
plant pol. same day is 20 inches. The third one on this plant pol. 6-11 is 19
inches. OK, anyone out there have 10 day cir. measurements?
Have had all sunflowers in contest 1 damaged by some animal but don't know
what. Have seen Deer, Raccoon and a Skunk. Thought it was the Deer until I
saw dirt on side of stalks. Only the leaves have been eaten. Have also seen a
mole, don't believe a mole will do this. Plants are about 4 feet high. I need
to enter contest two, my tallest now is 7 feet. The only thing touched in the
garden are the sunflowers. It has not touched the yellow or green squash or
any of the pumpkins. There are no tracks in the soft dirt. Any ideas?
