Good to see you're still on the list. What have you got planted this year?
A little of the POV luck rubbed off on me....I ended this season with a 189
pounder. Fruit just stopped growing suddenly. After harvest, I examined the
plant's leaves and vines for an explanation. Guesstimate I watered it to
death. The FL heat was horrid this year and I misted sometimes 24 hours daily
in an effort to stave off wilt.
The vines were buried, but rotted in the ground. Growth stopped and that was
the end.
Lovely fruit shape, perfect jack o'lantern and yellow/buff color. A 'taint
type of color, if you know what I mean, 'taint orange, and 'taint yeller....
