I can't stand the powder Sevin. It blocks the precious sunlight from the
leaves and is a pain in the ass to use, can't get it under the leaves or
at the base of the plant.
I love and had tremendous success with an Ortho product "Liquid Sevin". I
guess it is a concentrate. I use to mix a little more than
recommended........boy I was doing more damage then good. I now use less
then recommended and having great results. Also, by spraying / misting the
undersides you are killing two 'birds with one
stone'..................those nasty squash borers.
I spray every two weeks, try to stay ahead of the game. If I do not
notice any pests, I just spray lightly and then enjoy the plants while
sipping a cold one.
