I kept a pumpkin for 11 months 2 years ago -
keep in dry cool area - low humidity
spray on pledge furnature polish - about once per week - the pledge coats the
surface and prevents bacteria and seals the pores - it works................
my best guess is you can keep a pumkin for about 12 months in preserved
statre by these methods
