Why are people so anxious to use poisons?! Sheesh! Try something like
floating row cover when it is that small. Bury the edges, and you have better
protection than any poison from bugs, and anything else. Plus it can even
help boost growth, as long as temps aren't over 95 or so.
Anyone see that new commercial out for Bug-B-Gone? Man alive! It is so sad!
Shows a cartoon guy who freaks out because he saw a non-descript "bug"
(GASP!) on his piece of fruit! SO what to do? Get out the all-purpose poison
and spray like crazy! All over! On EVERYTHING! SPRAY SPRAY SPRAY! As well all
know, ALL BUGS ARE BAD NASTY CREATURES AND WE MUST KILL THEM ALL! What the
h*ll kind of mentality is this promoting?! Anyone else see this commercial?!
I get sick just watching it! The stupidity of it is unbelievable.
